Using multimedia to incarnate text is a logical step in develop a comprehensive understanding of literary devices. Students could choose to use any application and create a sensory representation as they see fit. Our emphasis was for students to be creative in expressing the complexity packed in their selected literary devices. Following the media interpretation of the literary device students were then required to analyze and explain the literary device.

Step Four – Multimedia (Complete 8 /9 – 12)
Your aim is to practically demonstrate each poetic device as much as possible using multimedia. Use multimedia to project this to your audience. The audience should experience your poetic device as much as possible. At the same time the audience should be able to read the quote that you have chosen.
- Search for images, sounds, clips etc to clearly demonstrate the comparison for each of your four examples.
- Use powerpoint, prezi or flash or …. to create your presentation.
- Ensure that you follow the outline that is provided in the example.
