Will publishing their lab experiment results on the web make students better scientists? I think it would be interesting to see what, if any changes one might see in the quality of a students work if they changed from doing write-ups the ‘old’ way to something on the web. What if students submitted their work to an online format, got some peer review, made revisions and then ‘published’ their work?
There is so much available to use in terms of technology for use in the classroom, that it gets a little overwhelming to look at and think about incorporating. What I think would be fabulous is for us all that would like to explore new technologies is to have a reduced teaching load that would allow us to spend time with these programs and to incorporate them seamlessly and comfortably into our classrooms.
