  1. Wow! Let’s hear it for common sense. An entertaining and thought provoking argument. The whole idea of freeing up creative products so that they can be re-used by amateurs in new ways, certainly makes sense in a school environment, although I think we have to be careful that recognition is given to all creators. Of course if this type of use was legal it might not be quite as appealing. Just like the smoking clip in the video, when an activity is seem as rebellious it does have a tendency to appeal to the young. I’m not sure the centuries before the twentieth century can be labeled as read – write cultures, given that the vast majority of people probably couldn’t read or write.
