How exciting that the kids are not afraid to take risks in this project! Sometimes (these days) they are more worried about the grade than the learning. I am glad they've had the chance to explore and try things out. The bloopers reel will be hilarious! I have some from my videotaping as well. Unfortunately, I couldn't fit it into my project. I hope your students will be able to teach others and apply what they've learned, especially a younger grade level. I know I am always open to older kids teaching my kinders how to use/do something. Can't wait to see the final project! Good luck!

I love the project your class is working on, mash ups of classics takes the students to a new level of creativity, creation, and collaboration. I recently started using peer reviews with my third graders. I noticed a difference in their performances and effort right away. Are you using a rubric for the peer evals? or a different method?

Looking good. Will be interesting to see how they rate each other in the group work and if you notice if the students actually work better knowing they are being evaluated by their peers.

Would agree...the problem with TVs is that they are of such high quality that the font becomes really small when you connect your TV to it. In a small class not an issue...but for a regular class would take a 100" 3000 lumes or better HD projector shining on a white board for interactivity any day of the week. My opinion anyway.

My coworker uses a TV. If I had a small class, I would go for that. I think the problem with TVs is it being too small sometimes.
