I didn’t touch a computer until 1990 (My third year of college!). I first accessed the internet in 1995. I have been teaching since 1993. I prefer doing things outside or playing musical instruments to learning more about computers, but I have been a pretty good problem solver about simple issues that have come up in tech usage.
The reality of modern schools is that technology is important. I know that I need to be more versed in the use of technolgy with students. I definitely feel slow at figuring out new procedures because I have less of a base to draw from, but I am willing to learn.
