Wow! What a phenomenal learning experience your COETAIL project has provided for your students! I really loved the introduction and the inquiry questions that you used to “pushing your thinking.” This is a great testament to how a PLN can help teachers make important connections to enhance student learning. In addition, I was really impressed by how thorough you were in building your initial case to present to admin. Again, the PLN and COETAIL learnings came into play to make it all a reality.

And yes, we will definitely continue to connect next year! I’m excited to be in that new role where I’ll really be able to devote a lot of time and energy developing global collaborative projects to enhance the learning.

It was great to finally meet up with you at the NESA conference in April too. I’m glad that you got to meet Marcello and other COETAILers, and it was great to meet Grant Rolls too. It’s been wonderful to collaborate with you this year, even if it’s been challenging at times. If we could get past the firewalls and manage to share student Google docs, collaboration could be really powerful.

I’ve loved our Skype calls and look forward to our next call on Tuesday. It’s a great way for our students to connect. I hope that we can find even more ways to extend the connection next year when you move to KL. Good luck in your new job!
