Hyperlinks Make Life Neater
These are the reasons why I can’t imagine life without the Internet (well, reasons from the last few days):
- I can look up a movie name just by the actor I recognize: Viggo Mortensen, Appaloosa
- Etymology of ‘zombie’
- Who are all those people in “Make Some Noise?”I only caught a few, and I am sure everybody was somebody.
- Drat! What is the conversion for fresh sage to dry sage?
- Summer reading?
- Fluevogs, the most fabulous shoes I have found in ages!
- Amtrak sleeper cars
- Google docs to organize a pot luck
- Midori Sour-(same pot luck)
- Girl Scout quilting fabric
- Mac App Store: app for learning German
A couple of months ago, I didn’t really understand the use of hyperlinks. Sure I used them. I would copy and paste entire URL codes into my emails. I would tell the person what I was giving them a link for and then paste it below. The pop-up would open with the box “Text to display,” and I would think to myself: Duh! The URL. What else would I put in there! I now know how silly that was of me. Here is my new, improved way to share a link.

Agree. Life is so much easier with links. I wish there was a way to link material things too!
